Campus Equity Week is designed to draw attention to the working conditions of contingent faculty at American universities. Because the working conditions of these part-time/adjunct faculty impact the learning outcomes on our campuses and because many of us will end up in similar jobs working under similar conditions, we want to make sure CGE members know about the move toward underpaying and overworking these fellow teachers and the impact these practices have on our higher education system.
