This Spring’s General Membership Meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 24th at 5:30 PM at the Corvallis Senior Center (26th & Tyler).  Please join us!  We have a lot of important business at this GMM, so it will be important to have your voice represented there.  Here are the main agenda items:

Officer Elections. Every spring we elect new officers to sit on the Executive Council. The Executive Council runs much of the day-to-day business of CGE.  You can find more information on officer positions and election procedures by following those links.  If you’re interested in running, contact any officer or staff. We’re happy to answer questions.

Constitution and Bylaws Amendments. The Constitution & Bylaws Committee has proposed a number of amendments that can be found here.  Be sure to come out and vote on these important changes to our governing documents.

Bargaining.  We’re entering bargaining to make the contract work for our new—much bigger—bargaining unit!  We anticipate this being a quick round of bargaining, but we want to hear your input on what we should be working on.

AFT-Oregon Annual Convention Update.  CGE’s delegates will give an update on the business accomplished at Convention this year.

Steward Council Nominations.  The GMM floor will be open for nominations to the 2013-2014 Steward Council. More info here.
